Many thousands of people have served at Skivvy 9 over the years. Although it is highly unlikely that we'll ever know all that served, here is one compilation of some that did. Several folks have sent in their expanded personal stories, memoirs, and other information. That type of information can be found under the Memoirs Section.

Msgt - Retired from USAFSS in 1985.rnI was a 202 arriving in Skivvy 9 in January 1977 for a one year tour. I made E-6 while there . . I worked in the aisle with headset walking back and forth between the X1 racks and calling in plots to the plotter up front. I had about 5 airmen working for me during that tour. It was a great mission and exciting on many occasions. We worked closely with the U-2 reps and had a tour of the aircraft one time and was allowed to sit in the cockpit. Amazing. My flight commander was Lt. Kevin Willey. I also worked with 203, Pete Siegle before he left to be commissioned. He was a great guy.. It was sad not having my family there but overall, mission wise, one of my best tours.
